Terms and Conditions

 

1. OUR PRICE GUARANTEE

We guarantee that we will not change the price of your booking once it has been accepted. However, we may need to amend value added tax or local taxes where there is any change in the applicability or rate tax, over which we have no control.

2. PAYMENT

2.1 Any deposit is not refundable

2.2 The balance of all amounts due for an event must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the event date as specified on you confirmation invoice. Failure to do so may result in enforced changes to the package and its content.

2.3 Prestige Promotions Ltd shall not be under any liability to the client until such time as full payment or payments in accordance with the confirmation invoice has been received by the said Prestige Promotions Ltd.

2.4 All accounts for services provided at an event which are not covered by an inclusive package are due for payment within 14 days of receipt of invoice.

3. CANCELLATION

3.1 If you wish to cancel, notice of cancellation must be made in writing to Prestige Promotions Ltd.

3.2 The following minimum cancellation charges will apply:

Up to 12 weeks prior to the published event date 50%

8-12 weeks prior to the published event date 75%

Less than 8 weeks prior to the published event date 100%

4. AMENDEMENTS

4.1 If you want to change your booking you must do so in writing. The request will be effective from the date of receipt by us.

4.2 We cannot guarantee that any request for amendment will be satisfied. However, if you wish to make an alteration to your booking after it has been accepted by us, we will try our best to accommodate your requirements, subject to availability and payment by you of an alteration fee.

5. THIRD PARTIES/THIRD PARTY CANCELLATION

5.1 Should for any reason an event in the UK or overseas be wholly or partly cancelled or postponed owing to circumstances beyond the control of Prestige Promotions Ltd (including but not limited to inclement weather, health concern, acts of terrorism, personal changes of circumstances) Prestige Promotions Ltd shall not be liable to refund any part of the fees paid by the client save that refunds will be made where the said Prestige Promotions Ltd are able to secure a refund on payments that they themselves have made in connection with a particular booking and should such a refund be made then Prestige Promotions Ltd will account to the client having made a deduction for administration charge.

5.2 Whilst Prestige Promotions Ltd do not exercise direct control over the running of hotels, theaters, sporting venues, box offices, caterers and other services, Prestige Promotions Ltd will always endeavor to protect the interest of its clients by vigilant selection of third parties contracted to supply within its packages. However, we cannot be liable for any loss, damage or disappointment due to unforeseeable or unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of Prestige Promotions Ltd.

5.3 Where we are liable to you for the non-performance or improper performance by hoteliers and other suppliers we shall only pay you the amount you can validly recover against such carrier or hotelier either under any domestic law Or the laws of the United Kingdom, or under the international conventions which govern such services.

6. INSURANCE – YOUR PROTECTION

6.1 For events involving travel and/or hotel accommodation we strongly advise that insurance should be effected by the client to cover eventualities such as cancellation or postponement. Should you require assistance in arranging such insurance, we would be pleased to provide it.

6.2 Should the Foreign Office issue a Travel Advisory against travel to a destination to which you have booked then with comprehensive travel insurance in place you should be able to claim a refund on said insurance.

7. TICKETS

Where tickets are included in a package, these are supplied in pairs unless otherwise stated.

8. FRAUD/CYBERCRIME – YOUR PROTECTION

We cannot accept responsibility or liability for malicious or fraudulent e-mails purportedly coming from us. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself (by phoning us on a previously used number) that any e-mail requests for payment coming from us are genuine. Criminals may alter our bank details in e-mails and on Booking Confirmations so that your funds are misdirected. On a first transaction we suggest you send £1 and wait for us to acknowledge safe receipt before sending the full amount.

9. The liability of Prestige Promotions Ltd shall be limited to an amount not greater than the cost set out on the confirmation invoice.

Nothing in these booking Conditions affects your statutory rights.
