We are privileged to have been invited to partner with The Palma Tennis and Sports Club who hosting the Legends Cup, part of the ATP Champions Tour, October 2021 - dates TBC. This is a fantastic tennis party where people enjoy professional tennis in beautiful & informal surroundings and whose seats are very close to the courtside.
Legends Cup is not only about tennis, it is also a gastronomic experience where some of Mallorca’s best restaurants are present in the relaxed and cosy “Tennis Village”. A Festival of high-level tennis, music, a great atmosphere and lots a fun – once experienced you’ll want to come back again.
VIP Access to the tennis & hospitality
Friday from 17.30 sees the quarter finals; semi-finals singles & doubles on Saturday from 17.30; and Finals Sunday beginning at 16.00 with the Legends Cup Final at 19.30
We thought Friday – you’ll have just arrived so we’ve included a ticket for the tennis and hospitality village – look in if you’d like, stroll around and watch some tennis.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, your days are free and your ticket from 17.30 includes access to the VIP courtside enclosure with comfy armchair style seating, and entry to the clubhouse where a selection of hot and cold food and an open bar are yours for the duration of your visit. There is even a private balcony overlooking the court if you want a change of view! There are champagne stations around a large swimming pool – a chill out area for you away from the tennis.
Why we chose The Saratoga hotel
Firstly for its general high quality and for its location within easy walking distance of the port, the centre of Palma and the Tennis Club (12/15 min walk, 4/5 minute cab ride). But also for its roof top pool and bar with views over the harbour, and in the other direction the Cathedral. for its jazz bar where you can dine or drink and in either case enjoy some of the best musicians in Europe perform until 1am – so when the tennis is over the party doesn’t have to end.
The hotel is also within walking distance (4 minutes) is one of the finest tapas cafes in all of Spain, and I’ll tip you the wink. AND we’ve included a 5 course lunch at one of the three Michelin restaurants in Palma Adrian Quetglas about 4 mins walk from the hotel. Needless to say, the hotel beds are comfy, the showers hot & powerful and the breakfasts extensive and delicious – all you need in a hotel really! Oh and if you fancy having a car whilst you are in Mallorca, the hotel has a car park too (at additional cost naturally).
